I haven't been on to chat with all y'all for a bit but I am back. Cadence just passed her 5 month mark since diagnosis & is going great! She is pumping now & we LOVE it!! We are still trying to get her numbers under control, but the pump has made life for her (& me!) much easier. I am hoping all her highs start to even out soon. They seem to stay in a pattern for a week - 10 days then change. IDK. I still feel new to all this, but at the same time it seems as if life has always been this way. Just wanted to thank everyone who responded before & welcomed us here. It truely helped!

Hi there. Glad you are popping in and things are going well. I'm not sure if I gave you some good links the last time, but there are a couple of sites that have lots of T1s and T1 parents. There is Diabetes Daily and also Children with Diabetes and also Juvenation. I like DD the best as far as quantity of T1s. There are kids as well as a pair of folks who have a combined T1 experience of over 110 years complication free.
