Thanksgiving menu

Hi! I am hosting Thanksgiving dinner for our family and for my neighbors family. Her daughter has type 1 Juvenile diabetes she is 7. We want to have food that she can eat with little consequence! This little girl has been through a lot in the past year because of her diabetes and just came home Saturday from being admitted to the hospital again. We want to make the dinner as normal as possible but we want her to enjoy it also. So I am asking for help with traditional recipes! She will be one of 9children that day and I don't want her to feel left out!
Thanks you in advance!

thanks to today's insulins and technology children with diabetes can eat anything that "regular" kids eat.

SO make whatever you normally would and let the child's parents decide what she should and shouldn't have, Making something special for her will just isolate her and make her feel different. Having diabetes is hard enough
