    My wife has type 1 diabetes, has had for 4 years. Shes had type 2 for 13 years. Now shes on insulin and the pill but still trouble controlling it.When she wakes in the morning its low,so all day she eats and feel nauseated and she get full quickly.

    I'm sorry you're wife isn't feeling well. First off, just because she has started insulin, does not make her a type 1. She is still a type 2 that now requires insulin. The type 2 board is much more active and you will get more feedback there than here.

    How low does she go in the morning. It's not a good idea to over eat after a low as your blood sugar will spike and then you will feel unwell. There is an excellent book called Think Like a Pancreas that can help you a great deal in learning about proper diet and insulin dosing.

    Thank you for that info. She let me know also about type 1 & type 2 diabetes. I also learned that she wasn't getting enough calories. Again thank you for the info.
