Type 1 Diabetes and Melatonin
photogeek1 posted:
I have a very good friend who has type 1 diabetes and needs to get her sleeping pattern back to normal. Will taking Melatonin hurt or pose any danger to her? She is 32 years old by the way.
mrscora01 responded:
I don't know much about melatonin so I can't really say. A general rule of thumb is to always check with your doc before adding supplements.

bionic09 replied to mrscora01's response:
Ive had type 1 for 30 years and have been taking melatonin for 8. Ive seen no problems in relation to my sugar.
