High BS Issues - Anyone else have the same?

I was diagnosed with type 1 a few years back and have never really worked on getting my bs under control. Has anyone ever seen a correlation between high bs and having smells bother them? I've battled for a long while now with having odors be offensive to me when no one else seems to notice them. I didn't know if this had anything to do with my chronic high bs. I also have noticed that I'm very irritable all of the time and since I homeschool my 3 children I would love to feel happy and relaxed. I'm not sure if that has to do with my high bs or if I'm just bored with my life. I know I should work on keeping my numbers under control but I just don't have the motivation to do it. I know I should since I have a loving husband and 3 wonderful children. I know I'm being negative and I'm sorry for that but I just don't feel like I can be positive right now. If anyone feels the same or has a way of getting through this please let me know.

Don't try to fix everything all at once. Try starting to test a bit more and take your insulin more consistently. There are a couple of excellent books you can read called "Think Like a Pancreas" and " Using Insulin". Both of these will help you get a handle on things. I know it's hard, but you can fall into the habit of taking good care of yourself. If not for you, then for your family.

Read your blog. The feeling of cold could also simply be nerve damage. Be careful with too much exercise as you may not feel things like blisters.
