What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? My wife had a colostomy a little over a year ago. Now whenever she showers in the morning I smell a really bad odor. I asked her once and she said it usually smelled worse after eating red meat. However, she is not eating red meat when this odor appears. Can anyone explain why this odor is continueously happening?

You might suggest that she see her doctor to make sure that the colostomy is functioning correctly and that there are no leaks or changes that need to be made.
