I am so glad I came across this discussion....AS I too had a bad reaction to an MRI,, of the knee.....of course even the doc told me "no, you don't feel anything, it's just a picture of your knee"...Low and behold, YES I did. No one else I have talked with experienced what I did. It felt like my knee was being drawn out of my leg.....do I have any metal, NO,,,,,did I have any surgeries on my leg,,,,NO....The pain was so bad that the tech gave me a shot so I would be able to straighten my leg for the test....well, yes the leg was numb, but the knee still felt the pressure of the dramatic pull.....to this day, I still have no answer from a medical stand point.....
