GI type question

Hi, I have been bleeding from my anus since November. Most of the time it would just be blood streaks on the toilet paper. About four times since November, I have had like a lot of blood down there but it would go away in a couple days since starting. I was thinking it was just a hemroid but I wasn't 100 percent sure. I finally went to my regular doctor and she said my GI doctor said there was nothing down there when they went in sometime in October. So now I have an appt with my GI doctor in two weeks and the bleeding has stopped for the most part. Their hasn't been a lot of blood since about a month and only small amounts of streaks maybe 2 or 3 times in that month. Should I even bother going to the GI? Everything I read points to it just being a hemroid. If it was something major like cancer, it would be bleeding all the time wouldn't it?

Keep your appointment. Most bowel diseases with bleeding don't have constant bleeding (until they get really bad).

I did just have a scope from both ends in October about a month and a half before the problem. The tests came back clean. I saw pictures of it and there was nothing there. Could and of the bowel diseases happen that fast? I was looking up stuff online and the only thing I can come up with was a hemroid.

I can't really speculate as I am not a doctor. Yes, they can happen that fast--but even a hemorrhoid may need to be seen by a specialist.
