A normal body temp of 96.8 degrees
    bets1962 posted:
My husband has a normal body temp of 96.8 degrees, right now he has strep throat and his temp is up to 100 degrees. I need to know what is considered a high temperature in someone that's normal body temp runs lower than the average?

Welcome Bets1962 and thanks for posting.

I am sorry to hear your husband is feeling poorly. Just guessing here, but if his normal temperature is 2 degrees lower than average, a fever of 100 in him, would be like a person with a 98.6 body temperature having a fever of 102.

I would suggest he should see his doctor and get checked out. His doctor may decide he needs some treatment.

    Hope he feels better soon,
