Hello everyone my name is Sara and I'm 19 years old. I'm new to WebMD so I don't really know if I'm doing this right. I really need some advice and if possible an answer for my health issue. I don't have health insurance and money is low so that's why I've been putting off going to the doctors until I know for sure that I have a reason to go. For the last year I've had issues with my upper left chest, below my breast and above my rib cage. I went to the doctors last April and had a x-ray done on my rib bones since at the time I thought it was bone that was the source of my discomfort. The xray showed nothing wrong and I thought I might of been over thinking it all and that it would go away. With time the discomfort got worse and I realized it was my tissue and not bone. I'm not in agony or anything like that, just from time to time I'll get sharp pains and rarely it'll get to the point the I can't breathe deeply since it hurts too much. Last summer I experienced the worse pain in the area, it felt as though I had been stabbed in the area and I had to hold my side, I thought I was gonna have to go to the ER cause of how bad it was hurting but in about 10 minutes the pain went away so I shrugged it off thinking that I would be putting my family in more debt by going cause what if they found nothing wrong like with the xray? I guess I'm just scared. Also another big thing I notice is when I lay down sometimes I can feel fluid moving in and out of the area and even hear noises it makes during the movement, it really worries me since I don't think that's normal at all. I would really appreciate any responses, thank you so much for taking your time and reading this. It means a lot.
