test results confusing
orinai posted:
I recently had a ct scan for lower left abdomen pain. The results came back with most organs saying they were normal in appearance. The stomach, colon, and small bowel all said they had a non-specific appearance. What does that mean? I assume it is different from normal or it would say normal. They also incidentally found a 4mm nodular density in my right lung. I am seeing a specialist for that soon.

Hi orinai!

The best way to get an answer if to ask the doctor who ordered the scan and received the results. Medical terms can be confusing and I'm sure your doctor's office could clarify what this means in relation to your CT.

Best of luck to you -
