What does this on a CT Scan mean?

FINDINGS:  Bibasilar linear opacities, likely atelectasis.  Heart size normal.  Incidental note is made of prominent opacification of a left anterior chest wall vein as well as bilateral internal mammary veins.

Hi Jessica,

Be sure to discuss this with your doctor but, in the meantime, I encourage you to repost your message on our Heart Disease Community , since it appears the CT Scan was ordered for that area.

All the dr said was that the Ct scan was fine. The Ct scan was for upper left abdominal pain and was ordered by my gi dr. I will try posting on that other page thanks.
