Iam just curious with the whole calorie thing in terms of a diet. For example, if I want to lose 2 pounds a week and i am moderately active so my required intake is 1600 calories, but then when I go to the gym and burn 600 calories my tracker adds 600 calories more I have to eat after I add in my exercise. Why is that? I thought that would defeat the purpose of my workout if I eat all the calories i burned.
