This new discussion board is horrible. All the discussions in the pregnancy community are supposed to be there and they are not. No one can find the discussions per trimester. Who ever created this new site should be demoted because obviously they dont know what they are doing.

I know it's a lot to get used to, change is difficult. Here is the link to the (click here) exchanges page , pick the letter P and you will find your pregnancy boards all there. Look around, you will eventually get more comfortalbe with this, we all will.

I'm sorry, but this new format is terrible. The board was perfectly fine the way it was before. I don't see why they had to go and fix what wasn't broken. Grrr! Looks like I'll have to find a new message board

Just wondering if there is a way to put up our signatures again? I know a lot of ladies on the pregnancy boards enjoy them and it makes things more personal if the woman so chooses. I enjoy knowing who my due date buddies are with out having to keep track of it myself. Life is too hectic right now as it is! LOL

No, there currently is no way to have signatures.
Have you considered creating an exchange for people due the same month as you are due? (for example an August 2010 Due Date Buddies/playgroup/pregnancy circle or Autumn 2010 Buddies) Sorry-those are examples to give you some ideas -I don't know when you are due.
I will note your wish for a signature for future changes to our new exchanges though.

Another big improvement is the ability of members to create their own exchanges on the topic of their choice...even a private exchange if that is what they prefer.
What do you dislike about the new format? Maybe it is something we can get changed.

Hi Kim,
You can take it off your Exchanges list. On the left sidebar there is a list of 'My Exchanges' and 'My Discussions Watchlist'. Click on the Preferences Link beneath that and you can remove the Exchange from there.

Why can't you see all bookmarked exchanges? I too hate this new set up and don't patronize me by saying all change is difficult. No sigs( very important) no spell check. You could of added features people where asking for without ruining what was best about the board which was the easy to find, easy to read, and easy to post to threads. Now the thread is squished all up in the middle of all this crap.

Louse or Caprice..........I have been invited to join an 'invitation only' exchange but I can't figure out how to get into it. There seems to be a link in my email but when I click onto it it takes me to WebMd but not specifically to the exchange I hope to join. Any suggestions?

What board is this..?? I can't find my personals, digests, etc that I had. I need help. How can I add a exchange to me. The loong list they have will take a whole day. I still don't understand. What is the the things that says.. Poll 1, poll 2, poll 3. And how can anyone be a moderator. If anyone can explaining in simple terms without the maze that they have.

agree this exchange thing is horrible!! i can't find my message board for children with special needs..i did a search on the parenting exchange and came up with nothing. i spent the better part of an hour looking for the message board. i have 4 children, one with special needs, i do not have tons of free time online trying to figure this new set up out. the "find your exchange" link is way too vague. i can't find any of the message boards that i visited in the past.

OMG - I just came back - have used these boards from TTC to post delivery for all 3 children and I cannot believe that I cannot update a signature anymore!!! Why do some people have them, then???
