Hi ladies. I am wondering: S.O.S.... if anyone out there has ever done or is presently doing ... BIO-IDENTICAL HORMONE THERAPY (BHRT)? and if so, how are you doing on it? Please let me know so that I can share the info with myself & my friends... I eagerly await to hear from you. Can't take the hot flashes much more, the intense lack of energy, increased weight gain, cholesterol issues, diabetes, etc. I had a complete hysterectomy seven years ago, & was on both Premarin for years & am now using the Vivelle Dot Hormone Patch. Thank you so much. Sunday

Sorry you had a complete hysterectomy. I can relate to how you feel! For me, in addition to the horrific after effects, I also feel betrayed by my ob/gyn of 20 years for removing everything for a cyst thereby robbing me of my good health - physical, emotional, mental and sexual. And I'm finding out that this is all too common.

I had many symptoms while on the V-Dot patch. After 15 months, I switched to hormone pellets (estrogen and testosterone) which I have inserted every 5-6 months (most women's only last 3-4 months). These make me feel more "normal" than the V-Dot patch.

Hope you find a hormone regimen that makes you feel better and addresses your health issues.
