I am 11 days late with my period. My periods are usually 27 day cycles. I am never this late most I have been late is 3 days. I took an at home pregnancy test when I was 7 days late and it came back negative. I called the doctor when I was 10 days late the nurse said I could just come in for a pregnancy test so I did. That also came back negative. I have pretty much same symptoms as I would during my period. I have the cramps, lower back ache, headaches more often, and nausea at times. The few different symptoms are my stomach feels like it is tightening, get a few sharp pains in stomach, get a quick burst of pain on either the left or right side of my pelvis(guessing thats where the ovaries are but not sure) sometimes at the same time otherwise one side or the other and now sometimes I get a hint of pain or feels like something is going on by my hips on each side. It feels like something could be wrong. At first if felt like I was going to get my period all the time but now it feels a little different. It is hard to explain. What could cause me to miss my period or for it to be late besides pregnancy? Or is there a chance I could be pregnant yet? Should I make an appointment to see the doctor or should I wait yet? Any insight would be helpful never been pregnant or been through something like this before.
