    Testicular pain from adderal

Wow, I am stunned! I just read all the posts about the testicular pain from adderal users. I thought I may have a hernia or uti which I have never had in my 33 years of life. I recently started taking the generic for adderal for adhd and have also been experiencing the testicular pain, as well as trouble urinating, incomplete bowel movements, and sleep deprivation. I was researching the uti and testicular torsion which led me to one of the causes which makes perfect sense. Testicular pain may be caused from neurons sending the signals throughout the brain. It's along scientific definition about how it occurs, but pretty much in short it says that the signals being sent through the brain can affect different glands and the L1 and L2 vertebrae. Adderal sends ignites these signals because those of us that have adhd lack the "normal" amount of dopamine. No way is it a coincidence that this started the same time I began the prescription! If you read about the neurons in relation to testicular torsion than it Scientifically makes sense! I am going to talk to my Dr. And see if he can switch me from generic to name brand. If anyone has input on the side effects of the name brand adderal in regards to testicular pain, please post!

I know this is a 2 year old post.
But I feel that my input will be of use. Adderall is a combo of 4 forms of amphetamines.
2 forms of D-amp acts on the CNS & 2 forms of L-amp acts on the PNS . The one to look at is L- cause its job is to manage peripheral structures of the body.
The PNS may trigger responses such as tension, muscular rigidity, dry mouth/eyes/skin your body goes into energy conservation mode turning features on or off depending on its importance.
example: your sphincters are signaled to stay on which is in the clenched position of the anus muscle. Removing the need for the brain to receive and transmit messages of instructions for certain functions of our system.
