Hi, I have been looking for a natural or more like an alternate treatment for alzheimer's. My close friend has been dealing with the side effects from the regular medication that doctors prescribe. We cannot find a fix to his condition. Please Help!

    Hello.

Personally, I know of no natural treatments for Alzheimer's.

You may try posting on the Alzheimer's Association website at http://www.alz.org/

    Hi kavitasahu-

Unfortunately, there's no "fix", natural or otherwise, for Alzheimer's. A recent study showed some promise in dramatically slowing its progress with resveratrol, found in wine and chocolate. As the article says, this is preliminary and may not pan out. Please don't make aany changes without discussing it with your friend's doctor first.

    Best wishes-
    Carol

Art therapy is awesome for alzheimer's patients. There are many activities that help mentally and keep them involved. Here is a cool jackson polllack art activity.
