    There are a number of things you can do at home that, when combined with professional treatment, can help relieve your anxiety. Working with your doctor to determine a plan that is right for you can be a good first step.

    When my anxiety starts to get the best of me, a quick 10-15 minute yoga or meditation session or a quick walk outside really helps to calm me down and center my thoughts. If I'm not in a place where I can easily stop what I am doing to exercise, I really try to focus on positive thoughts until I feel more in control of my anxious thoughts. This article may help:
