    i have hpv do i have cervical cancer?

    HPV vaccines help prevent cervical cancer. These are preventive vaccines and not curative. They prevent the specific HPV types and also manage the health problems that are likely to occur because of the virus. However, for those who have been exposed to HPV, these vaccines are not as effective. It cannot cure existing cancer or other HPV-related diseases.

    Early onset cervical cancer often has no symptoms which is why routine checkups after HPV is determined is recommended.
