Wondering if our readers have ever experienced ROAD RAGE while responding to a bipolar mood of depression, anger or mania? Of course, the warning here is to be verky cautious because your instability can be dangerous for you and for others.

Please report your story that might make people label you as being coocoo when you drive. Be sure to include what you have done in order to change such an irresponsible reaction to driving stress. It would really help some of us here.

    Sorry Kitten,

You must not have heard that one of your neighborhood communities, Fort Collins, CO, has been chosen to be one of the most courteous towns in the country for drivers.

I really like this post. It is most def. something that some Bipolars struggle with.

Many moons ago I had an anger prob. I would be fine one minute and the next, something would make me angry and my temper went off like a rocket. Not only did I have road rage but I had cashier rage, gas pump rage, teacher rage......... I fixed the prob. immediately when one day my daughter said "mom, when you yell at ppl., its embarrassing". Just hearing those words from my daughter made me want to fix my prob. So I controlled my anger instead of letting it control me. It wasn't that hard to do either. I became a happier person.
