    Hi,
I had my Tympanoplasty on Jan 6 ,2016 and there is still tinnitus. Doctor is saying he is not sure when it will go or what is the reason for it . I did audio testing and its normal.
Doctor completely ignoring it, he directly said , he can not do anything.

what can be the reason for tinntus? will it go?

Hi there, I was just looking through the threads here cause I'm thinking of getting a tube in my right ear. I've had a myringotomy done without the tube and my only unpleasantness was everything was very loud and I developed this weird burning sensation that was cured with strong meds or maybe it was the hole healing up. I too felt deaf even though I could hear too well.. I just felt like my ear was huge.. It was weird but my ETD isn't as bad as it is now. I had balloon dilation some of the etube, made things worse.. And that's not reversible as is getting a tube. I just pray it goes back the way it was. My ear hurts all the time now. It always feels stuck and stretched out. Constantly moving my jaw around to unstick it.. Maybe a habit; not sure? but it's painful and annoying. It makes an unsticking Velcro type sound when I swallow too.and. Can't equalize pressure at all now even traveling up tiny hill, sucks. Vlogs up on me immediately. I feel I have no choice but to get a tube. Did you do it awake or asleep? When did your T start? Right after you woke up? I already have T but don't want it to get worse. How's your tube doing now?
