    Sinus infection with no symptoms
    ColeU95 posted:
My sinus issues started literally years ago. When I was about 13 I had a very vibrant yellow mucus drip from my nose, little more than a drop. It happened maybe a few times a day but progressively got worse. I am now 21 and it has not been fixed.

I have been diagnosed with a sinus infection many times going to both walk in clinics and family doctors. I have been prescribed all kinds of sprays and antibiotics but nothing has helped at all. It's like doctors don't believe me when I say it has been going on for years. Also I have no symptoms such as a fever, pressure below or behind eyes, or pain when applying pressure below the eyes on the cheeks.

Another odd factor is that it only affects my right nostril. My left is generally clear unless I am going to sleep and I lay with my left ear on the pillow. In which case my left side slowly becomes blocked and I cannot breath at all. Rolling over onto my right side it slowly clears up and I can again breath from my left side only.

I recently have seen a specialist, who stuck a camera up my nose and told me I had a Pollock. I scheduled another appointment to have it removed, but I already was thinking in my head, that it explained the blockage but not the off color. After an excruciatingly painful session of trying to pull it out of my head we had given up on it because it was very large to begin with, I had hit my pain tolerance because of how sensitive it had become and enough was removed so I could breathe freely.

The next couple weeks i could breathe fine but I still had yellow drips. At the follow up appointment he said it was looking a little infected. I said it has always been like that, and he looked at me in disbelief and surprise. I too was surprised because that was the reason I went to see him in the first place. He gave me a prescription for more nasal spray that I still have not filled because it seems pointless since I have already done multiple kinds of sprays and antibiotics.

As is, I still have the yellow drips, my breathing is back to the same as it was before, and I blow out very gross yellow mucus, sometimes kinda solid. Iv been blowing my nose many many times, everyday for at least the last 7 years, and always only the left side, the right side is absolutely fine. No sinus infection symptoms besides the off color and blockage.
