Just yesterday, my "kazoo" began right after "one more suction" pass by an ENT who was removing wax build up. Mine is the flakey kind, not easy to get at through the forest of hairs.

Any one having success in getting this fixed, I'd appreciate hearing back.

In the meantime, I suggest listing any common symptoms here and remedies that seem to help, or not.

Relatively quiet sounds to not stimulate it. I can touch all edges of the curl of my outer ear and not stimulate it. There's a certain part just above the (normal) hold for my ear, if i make a "bridge" across two points I can here it (sort of like a loose washer against a window). Loud noises are awfully punctuated by the kazoo.

I tried shower water into my ear about 6 hours ago. At this point, using my normal speaking voice, I don't seem to set it off today. I don't know if that means its improving or its just a short term effect.

Either of two who posted years earlier, if their symptoms have relieved themselves or had any change, please let us all know.
