I was on Humira for roughly six months after my surgeries in 2010/2011. I also had to take methotrexate. I didn't respond at all to either medication. My Crohn's is weird though so you shouldn't base anything off of my experience.

I had asked my doctor a year ago to put me on that for my microscopic colitis which is basically just diarrhea. Constant diarrhea. Anyhow I had asked him about it and he stated that Humera it was dangerous and that it causes cancer. And that it wasn't worth trying without was a year ago. A Dr at the Cleveland Clinic who have worked with patients that were put on Humira when it came out that's just what I know whether its true or not I'm not sure
