    The following can be risk factors for diabetes
    * Being over ageing, more than 45
    * Having a family history of the diabetes
    * Being overweight (as per BMI)
    * Being inactive for more than 4 hours a day Or not doing any exercise
    * Having a low HDL (high-density lipoprotein) or high triglyceride
    * Had Diabetes during Pregnancy.
