    Getting Started with Weight Loss
    Louise_WebMD_Staff posted:
Are you wondering how do you get started losing weight? With the hundreds and hundreds of diets out there, how do you choose the best approach?

To find out, WebMD turned to James O. Hill, PhD, director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of Colorado in Denver. Much of Hill's research has focused on the habits of people who manage to achieve what we all want: stable and sustained weight loss. So how do these people lose weight and how do they keep it off? Hill has some answers.

There is an end and eating normal is possible as long as you look at eating normal as not overeating. If you learn healthier habits on the way to your goal-then those extra bbq servings may not be as appealing. I know that what I used to find a "normal" meal definitely isn't my normal anymore. Not because I am afraid to gain the weight and I certainly am not an exercise fiend-but because I just get queasy thinking about those portions now.
