Most of all it's hard with holidays during year and not to have that cake! ;especially in your very early weeks of (diet ) and exercise progams.

Learning how to deal with these pushers and temptations is a process and critical if we are going to lose and keep the weight off.

I go to social functions where they have pizza (love it) and cake. This is after dinner, so I have already eaten. But, this was a major downfall for me, that I would eat and snack endlessly AFTER my dinner. So, this was something I was going to have to come to terms with if I was going to lose and keep it off.

I made the plan to only eat one piece of pizza. Well that did not work...I ate 1, then 2, stopped after 4! Bad plan. So plan B,

I ate a Fiber One bar on the way to the social event and drank a 22 oz Crystal Light. I was full when I got to event and could control myself. I said no to pizza and cake. So far this has worked for me.

I don't feel bad about saying no to birthday cake, you name it. Believe me these people get over it.

Look up Mark Armstrong Fitness website. Lots of good food and exercise tips. Just discovered it.

Building self control is like building a will get stronger the more times you exert it.
