Hi....I am an adult woman, who has struggled with an eating disorder, much of my life. I have been an overachiever in health and fitness, and have recently hit bottom with my eating...or lack of it...while over exercising. I have developed very loose skin; it does not matter how much I cycle, use weights....my skin is not becoming firm. Any ideas? I know I need help but I have no idea where to start.

    HI,
I am an adult woman too who exercises about 5 times a week with Cardio and Strength training and I am currently struggling with an eating disorder as well.

I am not a nutritionist or fitness coach, but I do know a little bit about fitness nutrition. I do know that our bodies are cannibalistic. If you are not feeding your body properly post workout it will start to steal from your muscles, because it needs fuel to repair. (I was headed down this path myself) You need to replenish after a workout, lots of water w/carbs and protein. (3:1 ratio) Once start healing yourself with proper food you should start to see yourself firm up. Do you have a blender? try a shake post workout. I would look up "what to eat post workout." good luck.

Thank you so much. My eating disorder is getting worse. I will try to eat a bit more for a couple of days, but if I see the scale go up a lb or 2...I restrict again or over exercise
