    Eyelid Pain with large bump
    An_244717 posted:
My son has a large bump under his eyelid, it is not a stye, or a chaliza (whatever), and it is not full of any white fluid. The bump is about 4 to 6 mm in size, and my son says it is scratching the inside of his eye. The bump is about a quarter of an inch just inside the upper lid. He has had the bump all day, and earlier it was irritating him at school, however, it seemed to get better. About an hour ago, he showed me the bump and it looks like the bump is clear, but, not red? What may this be? Thanks,

Difficult to say with certainty what the eyelid lesion might be.

Any new tender swelling in the eyelid is likely to be a stye aka chalazion / hordeolum.

If not resolving by itself or with warm compresses it would be best to have your eye doctor take a look.
