    I purchased a Berkeley Ergonomics mattress just prior to April 2016 so the latex in my mattress is the "Silver" rated latex from Vita Talalay/Radium Foam. It contains 22 chemicals deemed "moderately problematic, but acceptable for use". Here is a link to the certification indicating so;

    I understand they are no longer making the 'Silver' rated latex I got, so it is just my suggestion, that if anyone is thinking of getting a Berkeley Ergonomics mattress, they should ask to see the two-page Material Health Certificate, like shown in the link above, so they can see how many chemicals would be in the latex they receive.
