    h pylori/ GERD/ eye disorder
    An_267478 posted:
I was diagnosed with NAION, which in simple terms from my ophthalmologist was I had like a mini stroke to my eye. A couple weeks later, I had sudden onset of what the ER dr said was GERD. (never ever had 1 single episode of heartburn, etc in my life before and I'm in my 50's) Its bothering me every single day. I ask to be tested for H Pylori and test positive. I have researched and found there could be a link between H Pylori and what happened with my eye. My partial vision loss is still the same. I would rather not go on antiobiotics and try natural approach and started with DGL and Mastic Gum. Hopefully this works but my question is - If this works, will it only kill the bacteria in my GI tract? If this bacteria can affect my eye, does it mean the bacteria could be present at/in/around my eye? Can taking the natural approach then possibly fix my vision or do I need antiobiotics/plus the ppi's to kill all the h pylori where ever it is in my body? If I eradicate it through the natural approach, will it kill it everywhere in my body??
