    50 year old with a never ending period

    For the past year, my period would last for over 3 weeks, then stop for 1 week, then the cycle starts over again. My Obgyn did a biopsy which was clean and put me on depo Provera shots. I've been on birth control now for 8 months and nothing has changed. As a matter of fact, I've had my period now for 8 weeks! And it's like a normal period, medium to heavy flow with clots. Very frustrating.

    It would be a very good idea to discuss other treatment options with your Obgyn since what has been previous tried has not worked:
