    Missed period, bloating, gas
    darcimcgee posted:
Hi. I am 42 yrs. old, mother of 2 had my tubes tied in 2001. I have always been reg with my periods except now. I haven't had a period since june 21st. This weekend I have started with bloating, painful abdomen, gas, and diarehha. All of which I don't experience on a reg basis. I thought with the missed period I might be going through early menopause, no big deal, but now with the other symptoms I think something else is wrong. I did a pg test and it is neg. I have a doc apt. weds. just wondering in the mean time if anyone has any thoughts on whats going on. Thx for your time! Darci

Yikes. I am glad you have an appointment. It isn't unusual for a woman to miss a period now and then but with your other symptoms, I would be concerned as well. Here is an article on missed or irregular periods that may help as well as this one I feel Pregnant but the test is negative.

Darci, Did you find out? I have the exact same symptooms and am getting nervous. I am 41 with 4 children. Praying you are ok and give me some hope before my appointment. Please respond! Thanks.
