Something could be seriously wrong with you if you have kidney disease. I do. I'm an 84 year old grandma. I was diagnosed this past September. The main causes of chronic kidney disease, CKF, are diabetes and high blood pressure. Cramps and frequent urination, and a metallic taste are some of the symptoms. Your primary care doctor can order a simple blood test to tell whether you have CKF. If you do, you may want to get a referral to a kidney specialist, a nephrologist. The major treatment is following a special kidney diet. I have not found it difficult to do. I wish you well in your search for a response to your question.
