    New high BP
    JacquelineRT posted:
For the last few weeks or so, I have been having really bad headaches, feeling dizzy and just blaaa.
I started having ringing in my ears about a week ago and decided to take my BP.
It has been, (at the highest) 189/103, and is consistently been around 168/90, 158/89 and 148/94 (the last few readings). These are all readings from the last week. It does not seem to matter when I take it.
I do it am and pm at this point.
My questions is... I don't have insurance and can't afford a trip to the ER. I also have no desire to have a stroke!
How long is too long to have readings like this? Should I be urgently concerned?
