    Thick uterine lining during period?

I'm hoping someone can shed on light on this for me. [br>[br>I was trying to conceive for 2 years with no success, which led to the break down of my marriage. [br>[br>For pretty much as long as i can remember i had spotting 4-5 days before my period. Brown and stringy. Throughout my time TTC my Specialist couldn't find a reason for this. [br>[br>I went back last week for a follow up app and he said that my Uterine lining was very thick for someone who was currently on their period so has booked me in for a Hysteroscopy. [br>[br>I immediately asked him if he is worried about "cancer" and he said he wasn't worried at all as Cancer shows up different on an ultrasound. My ultrasound shows that my lining was uniformly thick. No black spots. Just thick. [br>[br>I have had a laproscopy which found that everything was healthy, not endo, no cysts, nothing.[br>[br>I'm confused with what else this could be. [br>Has anyone else had a similar experience?

    Hi tealls,

It seems like you've been through a lot from the struggle of you trying to conceive to the dissolution of your marriage. It also seems like you are on the right track by consulting your doctor. I'm glad that your doctor determined that nothing was unusual about your test, but I still understand the frustration of not receiving any definitive answers about what is actually causing this.
