I live in NYC,i want to participate in the trial but i can never get through to anyone in the clinical trial department to speak with...SIGH!
    newhopefertility replied to keshai's response:
Hi Keshai, have you gone to sign up through the clinical trial website ( They have an initial screening test and sign up through there -- might be quicker than cold-calling (I know they are inundated with people who want to be part of the trial). If not, feel free to reach out to them direct via email at: [email protected] Or contact me ([email protected]) if you still have trouble and I'll try to help you out and stay with you until you can get through to someone.
    mamacrabb replied to keshai's response:
Keshai, Have you done the online screening and received a screening number? I didn't get a call back either until I got a screening number and then I called and left a message including the number. I got a call back within a few days. I had so many questions that I just couldn't find on their website. Also, if you go to, there is an entire thread of women that have gone through or are currently going through the trial. I am still reading past posts, but it is very informative. Good luck!

Cherie, the trial is for first time IVF. But there are other trials out there. If you go to and search for IVF, there are a ton throughout the country. I don't know where you live but I looked into two near me in DC and Philadelphia. Unfortunately, I am not old enough to participate. But you are

Hey mamacraab, yes i have completed the online screening and received a number. I also called and left a message and nothing! oh well if its to be it will be...thanks. by the way how is your thing going???
    Hypnautica replied to keshai's response:
When I done the New Hope screening after I got my number I called and left a message and got a call the next day. As I stated before I didnt go there because they told me for an out of town pt it would be about 20-25 visits. So we thought about it and figured it would be best to do a local palce. The cost of airplane, hotel and food it wouldnt have been worth it. Hope everyone gets in and gets their call back soon. Good luck everyone!
    keshai replied to Hypnautica's response:
thanks for the update Hypnautica. I live just down the street ,just a 15min train ride from New Hope i just hope they would call me...grrrrr If i dont get a call soon i might just start somewhere else and try IUI as tho it would be my first treatment and every thing is great with me its just DH counts are a little low...we will see. So how far are you in your process???

What do you think IVF clinics in Cyprus??? My sister will have her treatment there under North Cyprus IVF clinic. She was referred there by this medical tourism company named PlacidWay. I don't know much of the details but do you think it is worth traveling there? I need to now if anyone here already had experience on that clinic. Please share your thoughts. Thank you!
