I was told i have lymphoma 2 days ago. I'm 38 and noticed the lumps 1 mth ago. Diagnosis was based off of a mass on the right side of my neck and a ct scan. Beyond the lump on my right side, i have two smaller, palpable lumps on the left side of my neck. Additionally, i have been having the night sweats and i'm so exhausted, i am having difficulty with my train of thought. A PET scan was done yesterday. At this point, i guess i dont know if it's Hodgkins, or NHL? Nor do i understand what stage it's in. Being a Veteran, i'm in the hands of the Va doctors. They have scheduled me for a biopsy on Monday. My understanding, which is solely based on my family history, is that to cut on Cancer means for it to take off and kill me. I'm very scared Can you please help understand what i need to know at this point. Thanks for the support. I need to reach out!

I was just diagnosed with Lymphoma based off a CT scan? The Va doctors don't even have the Pet scan results and my biopsy is scheduled for Monday. Is a CT scan with a physical exam and blood tests enough to diagnose me correctly?
