    Cut out fat to reduce hot flashes

    Here's some good advice I got years ago from a nurse who had worked with Dr. Pritikan the diet specialist : Go on a low fat diet to reduce hot flashes. It worked for me. I found that when I splurged and had a buttery piece of cake it would be followed later by a hot flash. Overall I had very few hot flashes.
