    shooting pain on the right side of head during sex

    when my girl friend and I are having sex i'm fine, but when i start to climax i get very sharp shooting pain on the top right hand side of my head. This just started recently in the past three times this doesn't happen any time else including mastrabtion or oral sex. the pain is extreme at first and then slowly subsides
    any thoughts?

    Hi Jonathan,

    This is not uncommon and is more common in men than women. It may not indicate a bigger problem but it does need to be checked out with your medical provider.
