lip and tongue tie corrected but nursing is still very painful
    farn1258 posted:

My son is currently 7 weeks old and about 3 weeks ago his tongue and lip tie were corrected. But nursing is still very painful, it is even painful to pump.

I have been to a lactation consultant many times at at this point all they are saying is that it will take time for my son to relearn how to latch on properly.

I am using a nipple shield and it helps but it does not fix the pain. any suggestions are welcomed!!!!!

    Thank you
