Knees and ankles and bunions? Oh, my!

Hi, everyone! First time poster here.
I've had injury and repetitive-motion related knee problems, surgeries and now osteoarthritis for the past 20 years (I'm 36 now). Presently, I'm working with an orthopedist to see if we can get synthetic fluid and cortisone to help (So far, either only helps for about a month).
Earlier this year, I had an ankle surgery after an accident.
Today, I'm experiencing limited mobility because of my healing ankle and eroding knees, and my heels hurt tremendously if I stand/walk for more than 10 minutes. And just the other day, I experienced for the first time SEVERE and unprovoked pinky bunion pain while I was resting with legs up...out of nowhere!
Are all of these related or am I just unlucky? I feel like I'm being attacked from the inside.
Thank you for any insight. I'm inclined to just keep working with ortho on knees and address other issues later (it's embarrassing to have so much wrong with me), but perhaps these are all connected?
Any insight you might be able to offer would be much appreciated.
