Any cute fall crafts to share?

I'm always looking for fun crafts to do with my 2 year old DD. The other night we made turkeys out of our hands with construction paper and lots of glue. She had fun doing that. We painted pumpkins for Halloween and she made her own trick-or-treat bag with stickers and a ton of different junk, but now I'm struggling to come up with other ideas for Thanksgiving.

Just wondering whether any of you guys have anything like that to share that you have done with your LO?

We've done quite a few things. We made a turkey head dress the other day. A turkey out of the kids hands and feet. We made fall trees from their hand prints. Their hand was the trunk and they used their fingers for leaves. We did leaf tracing a few weeks ago. I also let them collect mini pine cones and had them stick it to construction paper. Today we're going to use an egg carton to make turkeys. I'm going to let them paint a section of the carton brown and then have them glue feathers on the back and googlie eyes. Later in the week, we're going to make pilgrims from spoons and an indian head dress out of construction paper feathers.

I got a lot of my ideas from the following sites: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/crafts/ and http://crafts.kaboose.com/ .

One thing to do with fall leaves is to cut two pieces of clear contact paper, peel the back off one, put leaves on it, then put the other clear piece on top to make a placemat. You can also put construction paper in-between if you want.

Just wanted to share another craft we did today. I printed out a picture of a cornucopia and had the kids make a mosaic from it. I gave them a few sheets of construction paper to rip into small pieces and then put glue all over the picture. Here's what it turned out like:

Very cute idea! Do you usually just use glue sticks to spread the glue down or did you actually use the liquid bottle glue?

JKSayre- That's a great idea too, I definitely will be picking up some contact paper this weekend. Thanks!

I used the liquid glue and just spread it around with my fingers (a small section at a time). The glue stick glue dries too fast sometimes.
