My 2.5 year old wont't sleep or eat.

ok I have 4 children. 9, 7, 5, and 3 (in November). From the time the baby was about 1.5 he would only wake up once at about 3 for a bottle of milk. Our routine used to consist of the older children outside with dad while I get the baby settled in (this was for no distractions). He would get a bath and then I would rock him about 30 min (just as a wind down period he wouldn't go to sleep). Then I would lay him down in his crib (With the tv on) between 7:30 and 8;00 and he would go right off to sleep within 20 min no complaining. over the last 4 or 5 months it's getting worse. Now I can't get him to sleep before 10;30 and daycare said he only sleeps about 20 min at nap time. About every 2 weeks we will wake up about 3:00 and not go back to sleep until 6 or 6:30 in the morning but still back up at 7:00 ready to go. He gets cranky, whiny and sleepy but refuses to sleep. The problem is school is starting back and I have to get older children back into a routine but the baby is making this impossible. I also need me time and alone time with my husband. The other issue i'm having is he will not eat. He ate baby food as an infant but when I switched to stage three baby food with chunks in it he started refusing food. The only thing he will eat is cereal, chips, popcorn, pop tarts, crackers, cookies, cakes, yogurt, bread and a gallon of milk a day. If you try to give him normal food he will literally run away and hide. Please help. My other children aren't like this. What do I do??

I would refuse him all that junk food, and a gallon a day that im sure is filling him up. I give him the food that you guys are eating and if he doesnt eat, oh well, i never forced my kids to eat and at a lil over 2 and 10 months they are great eaters, love fruits and veggies and i still offer them special treats a few times a week, but usually will pick eating fruit or veggies as a snack. the whole sleeping thing, I hear ya on that they may be good eaters, but they both stink at sleeping and i have no advice for you their, sorry!
