    Emoticon List

Old time emoticon list below with some notes

You may see them sometimes even in Internet Explorer 6 when in a thread.. But IE6 isn't supported well anymore and is full of security risks . Nearly all major sites no longer actively create fixes for IE6 compatibility. (including Google and YouTube)

You can create emoticons by typing out a colon : dash - and paren ) next to each other.

    Using the Old Word Codes:
Note-if you make them this way-using them too early in the post means the word will show up on the main page in the snippet that shows there

Type the following without the spaces between each symbol/word:

    : smile :

    : grin :

    : sillygrin :

    : eek :

    : lightsmile :

    : sheepish :

    : frown :

    : angry :

    : chagrin :

    : neutral :

    : wink :

    : confused :

    : sad :

    : crying :

    : asleep :

    : eyeroll :

    : cool :

    : coolfrown :
