    TTC at 39 post Mirena!
    AustinRunnerGirl posted:
I have an 8 year old daughter (born when I was 30) and my husband and I have decided to try for a sibling. I'm now 39 and he's 46. I've had Mirena for 8 years and have an appointment next week to have it removed. I'm healthy, active, and have had regular "periods" while on Mirena. I'm trying to not search Dr. Google for information on TTC at 39, risks, "advanced maternal age", etc, but also want to be realistic on expectations.

Any advice and questions I should make sure to ask my ob/gyn next week?
