    11 weeks pregnant...spotting...m/c 1 year ago...
    MommyManda posted:
[TRIGGER] Ugh! Here I go again. So exactly one year ago today, I had a miscarriage. After spotting alittle last night, I feel like I have jinxed myself. It sounds silly, but how ironically is it that its happening again? It's not bad, and it's not a lot at all. Just when I wiped last night there was a little blood (not even bright blood but still) and then it stopped. I called my doctor just to see if there was anything I could do, even though I knew from past experiences that there wasn't. I swear I must have peed about 10 times in 2 hours, cause I wanted to know if it was going to stop or get worse. Luckily it stopped. Then this morning when I peed, it was a really lite, and like a brownish color. Didn't look like blood, but still isn't normal. I know that there are posts on here that say some spotting is normal, and not to worry it probably just the stretching inside. And my bf and I haven't had sex since Thursday, so I'm assuming it wasn't that either. Idk, just worried about it since I already miscarried and my family and my boyfriends family has already told EVERYONE! Someone help me keep my sanity!?!

As long as it stopped and didn't get any heavier I think you're ok for now. Just take it easy and try to relax. I know that's easier said than done, but try none the less. Good luck!! Lots of sticky baby vibes to you

I know I'm not going to help any but I have had 2 m/c. Mine were both on Sept 2 just 6 years apart. I am scheduled to deliver this baby on Sept 3rd. I think you will be ok. Just take it easy.

Thanks Ladies. My bleeding did go away Saturday night, but continued randomly throughout Sunday. Monday morning at 4:30 I was rushed to the ER in ambulance. I had passed out in my bathroom, and when my mom got to me, I had quit breathing. When I came to, I was in a pile of blood with the paramedic asking me questions and preping me for an iv. I again, on August 23rd, had a miscarriage. exactly one year after my first miscarriage. With my first, I honestly thought I was dying, but this was a million times worse. I understand miscarriages are normal or whatever, and nothing can be done to prevent it. But I really am upset with my doctor for not only the rude way he treated me in the ER, but for never doing my bloodwork to make sure the levels were okay after already suffering one miscarriage. I've been trying to avoid everything and keep my mind off of it, but I know August 23rd will never be the same for the rest of my life. For the previous poster, I have a ton of respect for you, and I couldn't imagine finding out my due date would be so close to this date. Best of luck to you, and to the previous posters. Thank you all, for all the wishes, unfortunately it just "wasn't my time"...again.

I was wondering if you had any cramps? I just noticed that I am spotting. The blood is bright red, but I do not have any cramps though. On Wednesday I spotted but the blood was really dark. I called the doctor and they said that I should be ok as long as I don't have cramps and continue to bleed. I am really nervous and do not know what to do.
    excitedandscared replied to applause's response:
I had a miscarriage earlier this year and I did not have any cramps just bleeding. Along with the blood there was a clear mucus like substance and what I know now was tissue. It was colored black and normal tissue color. If you see any of this then get to the doctor.

I am so very sorry! Trust me, I know how devastated and frustrated you feel. I suffered 3 m/c's last year and have lost total respect for my OB's who treated me at that time. I finally sought help from a Fertility Specialist who tested me for blood clotting disorders. I started treatment for MTHFR and six months later I'm pregnant again. What I love about the fertility dr is they'll see you as soon as you get a postive test and start testing your HCG levels ASAP. No waiting until your 8 weeks along crap! You get more ultrasounds and they see you every 2 weeks for the first trimester. Once you're into your 2nd, they turn you over to an OB. I'm going to see a Perinatalist since I'm 37 with m/c history. I'm 6 1/2 weeks and get my first u/s tomorrow and I'm so very nervous. I'm so used to hearing bad news so I'm very white knuckled keeping my fingers crossed that there is a heartbeat. I just wanted to let you know that the fertility doctors ROCK and there is hope for a perfect healthy successful pregnancy in your future! Sometimes m/c's are prevented by the easiest fixes such as taking an 81 mg aspirin every day, etc. OB's are not trained with the info needed to prevent miscarriages. Fertility docs will set you up on extra progesterone, baby aspirin, blood thinning injections if needed, the correct meds and vitamins to prevent m/c and they'll start you early on in the pregnancy. The extra care and attention is awesome! Sending hugs and prayers your way sweetie! Don't give up hope. You'll be a mommy someday!

I also had bleeding without cramps that resulted in a miscarriage at 10 weeks. The bleeding wasn't even severe, but it was the start of something more.

So, I know I posted this quite awhile back. But I was curious how your pregnancy is going now?? I also had been diagnosed with MTHFR. So I'm on a ton of vitiams and medications, and am currently 8wks, 5 days along! Just curious if the meds are working and all...
