    Fetal Heart Rates
    An_266608 posted:
I know that "they" can not determine the gender of a fetus.. But "they" can determine if there are twins due to heart rates, correct?? I am almost 16wks. I found out that I am pregnant around 8/9wks. I've had 3 in office US's, that the pic's are not very clear at all, but all have a recorded heart rate as well.. On 11/11//15 the heart rate was 167, on 11/23/15 the heart rate was 165 and on 12/07/15 the heart rate was 147. (Which to me is odd, but that's my own opinion.) After reading numerous articles about twins being missed, I wonder if this is the case with the lower heart rate. Due to my age, I'm considered high risk, which also meant that my Dr. was seeing me every 2wks. Would a fetus's heart rate really change that dramatically in 2wks? Or could the Dr. have just happened to pick up on "the other" heart beat?
