    erections after prostate cancer removal

I had the robotic surgery a year and 1 month ago i still can get a erection, i just bought a penis pump a while back and i cant get that to get me a erection its taking its toll slowlly on my relashionship,i like to discuss more and any other ways beside injections wich she does not want me to get.

I use a penis pump and have never had a problem getting an erection with one. What kind did you purchase? Are you getting a good seal so that you do draw a vacuum? I have been keeping my self shaved down there so that the pump makes contact only with my skin. I also find that putting a bit of lube around the rim of the opening of the pump before applying to my skin also helps to get a good seal. i also find that I have to use a decent amount of lube on my penis so it doesn't stick to the sides of the pump tube. Finally, I also find that it probably takes about a half hour of pumping in order to get my best erections. I also use 2 penis rings instead of 1. I find that it makes my erection last longer. the only other thing I do is take a daily does of 5MG Cialis. I find that is helping. I did not have the robotic surgery, but had a procedure called Irreversible Electroporation of the Prostate which involved electric probes put into the prostate and then 3000 volts of electricity was built up in the prostate to kill the cancer cells. I was having erection problems before the surgery and my doctor assured me that this procedure would not make them any better and probably make my erections worse. this is why he prescribed a pump and the cialis.

nothing working for me but doctor warned me i may not be able to have sex ever again so i just have to get use to. Penis pum only brings it up 2 inches,it was a turtle before.
    rjorgeron replied to jaysteitz's response:
That is interesting because penis pump brings me up to 6 inches or better and since I have been taking the cialis daily, I have noticed that I am waking up with chubbies. It is not morning wood, but it is better than before. I wonder if it is because I still have a prostate. Have you considered a prosthetic? I hear that they can work pretty good and can give you an erection on demand since you pump it up yourself whenever you want an erection.

go back cancer doctor in june see what he says, i am sure my insurance will deney it since they dont think its inportant
